Foursquare ForeRunners
Celebrating those who have paved the way.
ForeRunners are credentialed ministers who have received commendation status in The Foursquare Hub. These honored individuals and their spouses have unique life experiences and strengths that enable them to continue to contribute to the kingdom. Though some of our ForeRunners are retired, they still are actively contributing to the kingdom by investing in countless lives.
We are grateful for the legacy of the mothers and fathers of our Foursquare family who paved the way for many of the communities and countries where Foursquare still exists today. In fact, many of our ForeRunners continue serving their local Foursquare churches in various capacities as assisting ministers, counselors, chaplains, mentors or coaches, international missionary worker supporters, and in various other positions. These key influencers provide a resource community that assists our district supervisors and local churches in passing the baton of ministry and leadership to a new generation.
Connecting with our ForeRunners
Each district is responsible for connecting with ForeRunners, building teams for care, and seeing that the gifts of the ForeRunners community are used versatilely across the district and local ministry.
ForeRunners serve in many ways, including at district camps, as volunteers at Foursquare Connection and other events, in transitional pastoral appointments, and in mentoring young leaders. For more information on serving ForeRunners in your church or community, contact your local district.
